Overview

In 1905, the United States Postal Service (USPS) operated its main post office at 150 West 2nd Street in Pomona, CA. Walter M. Avis was the postmaster in that year. (See Pomona, California, City Directory, 1905, p. 149.) The USPS also operated a post office in North Pomona in 1905, at the corner of Railroad Street and North Garey Avenue.
