Built c. 1950, the Sherman Park Tract, designed by Fickett and Ray Hommes; the Sherman Park Sub-Division was the first tract (925 houses at $6,950) in Reseda, CA; designed in four sizes: A, B, C and D; the A Model cost $10,200; the B Model $11,400; the C Model contained 1,131 square feet; the D Model cost $11,400 and contained 1,145 square feet; the ceramics expert William Manker, acted as a color consultant; Martha Weaver, Interior Designer for Barker Brothers, the venerable Los Angeles furniture store, did interior design work;
