Overview
The Kahan and Falk Company, dealers in "junk, hides, machinery and railroad equipment," was founded in 1898, and had operations in Seattle and Spokane in 1918. In that year in Seattle, Kahan and Falk had yards at 4915 1/2 8th Avenue South and its warehouse at 1950 1st Avenue South. (See R.L. Polk and Company's Seattle City Directory, 1918, p. 77.)
