Overview

In 1935, the Royal Hotel operated at 401 5th Avenue in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Downtown Seattle, WA. Hotaburo Taniguchi served as the manager in 1935. (See R.L. Polk and Company's Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1935, p. 1300.) By 2007, King County's Chinook Building, an office tower, would occupy this site.
