Overview
The Great China Theatre was in operation in 1935 at 630 Jackson Street in San Francisco, CA. (See San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1935, p. 1875.) It was known as the "Great China Theatre" from about 1925 until 1960. It was renamed the "Great Star Theatre" in 1960 and operated under that title until 2000.
