Overview

This Mediterranean Revival Styled residence served as mental health/elderly care facility owned by Dr. Norbert J. Gottbrath, M.D., of San Francisco, CA. It billed itself as "A Select private home for the treatment and care of nervous patients, conditions of semi-invalidism, and age people." Gottbrath maintained his San Francisco practice in Room #1148 of the Flood Building in 1924.
