Overview

Los Angeles Herald theatre reporter Guy Price noted the opening of the Venice Theatre in his column of 07/03/1920: "Venice has a new theater. It is called 'Venice California.' T.H. Dudley, C.G. Parkhurst and George J. Cleveland, the latter an amusement man of much experience at the beaches, are the promoters and directors."
