Overview
The Los Angeles Herald published a note in its 08/02/1903 edition that said the following: "Pasadena Electric Express Warehouse, 453 Commercial street, one-story brick warehouse, $4000; E.S. Cobb, architect; C.M. Hauser, contractor." (See "Buildings Planned for the Future," Los Angeles Herald, no. 299, 08/02/1903, part III, p. 1.) A building permit for the Pasadena Electric Express Warehouse was issued on 08/01/1903.
