In 05/1878, the congregation of the Saint Paul's Mission Protestant Episcopalian Church used the Georgia Street School House for its Sunday services. Rev. James Albecrombie led the congregaion at this time. (See "Church Chimes," Los Angeles Herald, vol. 9, no. 146, 05/19/1878, p. 3.)
