Overview

In 1875, J.S. Slauson served as President of the Los Angeles County Savings Bank, with J.M. Griffith acting as Vice-President. The board of directors included a group of well-to-do county businessmen including J.S. Slauson, J.M. Griffith, V.A. Hoover, Robert S. Baker, J. Bixby, H.B. Tichenor, and George S. Dodge.
