Overview
German-born architect Conradin Alfred Breitung (b. 1868) designed this two-story residence for M.F. Walkup at 533 12th Avenue North in 1904. It occupied a 30x44-foot lot originally and was to cost $4,500 to erect. Smith and Walgren were the building contractors. (See "Daily Statistics Building Permits," Seattle Times, 08/24/1904, p. 7.)
