Overview

In 1907, the Mechanics Bank operated at this location in 1907. At this time, Arthur H. Green served as President, George W. Tubbs was its Vice-President and J.C. Dickson, its Cashier. The Board of Directors included W.T. Dalton, George Tubbs, John A. Pirtle, J.C. Dickson, W.N. Caswell, Arthur Green and Dr. R.S. Petter. (See advertisement in the Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1907, Banks and Commercial Institutions, p. I.)
