Overview

Between 1867 and 1872, at least, Palmer, Knox and Company operated the Golden Gate Iron Works at 19-25 1st Street in San Francisco, CA. (SeeSan Francisco, California, City Directory, 1867, p. 216 and San Francisco, California, Directory, 1872, p. 278.) The Golden State Flour Mills Mill #2 was located at 41 1st Street in 1872.
