Overview
From at lease 1869 until 1875, the Farmers' and Mechanics' Bank operated its headquarters at 225 Sansome Street in San Francisco's Financial District. Henry Dutton served as the bank's president in 1869, with George M. Condee, its cashier. (See San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1869, pp. 227 and 679.)
