Overview

This hotel was in operation on Sacramento's 2nd Street in 03/1857. It experienced a chimney fire on 03/26/1857. (See "Chimney Fire," Sacramento Daily Union, vol. 13, no. 1872, 03/27/1857, p. 2.) It was owned by J.P. Dyer in that year, who was also the Mayor of Sacramento.
