The construction journal, Building Age, stated in its 02/1913 issue: "The MacGibbon-Frary Company is getting out plans for two 4-story concrete buildings at Ocean Park, to cost $200,000...." (See "Los Angeles, Cal.," Building Age, 02/1913, p. 99.) It is not known if therse two buildings were completed.
