A short notice on the Wolfskill House appeared in the Architect and Engineer in 1920: "Messrs. Bliss & Faville, Balboa building, San Francisco, have completed plans for a handsome two-story and basement frame and stucco residence to be built in Sea Cliff, San Francisco, for Mr. Ney Wolfskill at a cost of $45,000."
