The Stock Exchange Building in 1878 was located on the south side of Pine Street between Montgomery and Sansome Streets.

Building Notes

In 1878, Pioneer M. & M. Company leased Rooms #20-21 in the Stock Exchange Building. (See the San Francisco City Directory of 1878, p. 700.) R.H. Brown was the Secretary of the Pioneer M. & M. Company at that time.

In 1878 and 1879, the notable architectural firm of Laver and Curlett occupied space in the Stock Exchange. (SeeSan Francisco, California, City Directory, 1879, p. 935.)
