Overview
The Commercial and Savings Bank in Stockton, CA, was the city's second skyscraper. The Bank of America owned and operated this office building at 343 East Main Street in 1943.
Building Notes
The Northwestern Mutual Fire Association maintained Office #202 in the Bank of America Building in 1943. George C. Lathan served as its branch manager at the time. (See Stockton City Directory, 1943, p. 243.)
Alteration
In 1925, the Commercial and Savings Bank Building suffered a serious fire.
