Overview

The San Francisco-based architecture and planning firm, George T. Rockrise and Associates, formed in 1968, presented its redevelopment study of Seattle's waterfront before city administrators on 01/27/1971. The Rockrise document on waterfront redesign followed two previous design studies produced by New York planner Donald Monson (d. 1991) in 1963 and John Graham and Company in 1965.
