Building History
A 120-foot-long chunk of the Seal Beach Pier #2 was washed away in a severe storm on 01/27/1983. Efforts to repair the pier cost over $1 million and were completed in 1985, resulting in the Seal Beach Pier #3.
Alteration
Fires broke out on or next to the Seal Beach Pier #3 in 1992, 1994 and 2016. The last destroyed an abandoned restaurant, Ruby's Diner, located on the pier's west end.
