Overview

Located just to the south of Yesler's Wharf, the Crawford and Harrington Company Wharf was a significant docking spot for cargo ships during the 19th century. The wharf's eastern half would now occupy filled land, crossing Alaskan Way to roughly the foot of the Alaskan Way Viaduct. At the pier's western end was a small shed belonging to the Talbot Coal Yard. To the south of the Crawford and Harrington Company Dock was that of Stone and Burnett.
