Building History

The tandem of Zuberbuehler and Hansen managed the Chicago Hotel at 220 Pacific Street in San Francisco, CA, in 1878. (See the San Francisco City Directory of 1878, p. 984.)

By 1883, Mrs. E.W. Heimburg and Company operated the Chicago Hotel at 218-222 Pacific Street. (See San Francisco, California, City Directory, 1883, p. 308.)
