Overview

Seattle architect George Bolotin (1914-1980) designed this seven-story high-rise for the Doric Company, an enterprise that operated hotels and office buildings, including the Doric New Washington Hotel, 6th Avenue Motor Hotel, Mayflower Hotel, Waldorf Hotel, Towne Motor Motel in 1960. Floyd Clodfelter (1912-1989) served as President of the Doric Company in 1960.

Demolition

The Doric Company Office Building was demolished. In 2016, its spot was occupied by Benaroya Hall.
