Building Notes

The Sacramento Art Deco Society presented the owner of the Firestone Building, John Wurster, and developers, Ken Fahn and Mark Cordano, a preservation award in 2009. They restored the terra cotta columns supporting the porte-cochère of the tire store with new Gladding-McBean terra cotta replacement tiles.
