Overview

According to the Landmark Nomination Application for the Seattle Public Schools' Central Supply Center that later occupied this site: "Historically, the subject site had been occupied by the Cascade School of the Seattle Public School system. That building, with various additions, occupied the site from 1894 until demolished in 1955. A small, one-story, wood-frame School Custodial Building (on tax records called the 'In-service training building' with a 'boiler training room'), which was associated with the Cascade School, occupied the easternmost edge of the parking lot on the site at least until 1955, and is visible in some historic photos. It was demolished some time after 1988 and replaced with additional surface parking stalls." (See City of Seattle Landmark Preservation Board, "Landmark Nomination Application for the Seattle School District Warehouse, Accessed 01/14/2014.)

Demolition

It was razed along with the main Cascade School building in 1955.
