Overview
The Los Angeles Times stated in its issue of 11/30/1924: "Construction will start at once on a one-story automobile sales building on Hollywood Boulevard near Gower street for the Maxwell-Chrysler Company. Plans for the structure, designed by Contractor John M. Cooper, were completed last week. Cost will be approximately $25,000." (See "Start Auto Home," Los Angeles Times, 11/30/1924, p.
