Overview

The Southwest Builder and Contractor published a notice on the Van Evera House in its 10/01/1910 issue: "Bungalow--The Weston Bldg. Co., Lankershim bldg., is preparing plans and will build for Mrs. Lucy Van Evera on St. Andrews Place, near Santa Monica ave., a 1-story, 5-room frame bungalow. Concrete foundation, rustic exterior, shingle roof, pine and oak floors, brick fireplace, bath, electric wiring. Cost about $2000."
