In 1949, the Soulé Steel Company, a manufacturer of fabricated steel building products, operated its main office in San Francisco and maintained branch facilities in Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA.
Alteration
In 12/1949, the Soulé Steel Company announced plans to enlarge its San Francisco main offices. A notice in the Architect and Engineer said at this time: "In anticipation of further growth in its Pacific Coast business, the Soulé Steel Company has started construction to enlarge its general offices in San Francisco with an increase of nearly sixty per centof present facilities, according to an announcement by Edw.
