The Taskett Advertising Agency Office Building won an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects, Washington Chapter, in 1955.
Taskett field suit for libel against KING-TV when it reported on 01/11/1973, that William Taskett, who had run an advertising firm in Seattle for over 20 years, skipped town and moved out of the country to avoid debts. Taskett did not go abroad, but moved to CA to locate employment, and felt aggrieved by the incorrect report. The case became a significant legal case.
