Overview

This two-floor residence had a tall basement story and elevated first floor. It stood in the Hayes Park II Sub-division in Ravenna, developed by 1942. Like other houses in this part of the tract, it had a large basement, long horizontal lines, and shallowly-pitched hippeed roof. To minimize costs, houses in this area had simple rectangular plans, with no wings.

Building Notes

The house had had its central air-conditioning unit changed within the last 10 years. A brick patio stood out back on the residence's north side. The house's exterior was painted a rich, pumpkin orange color at this time.
