Overview

This was the second Catholic church built in Bellevue, WA, and was, in 2015, the earliest extant one. Sacred Heart Church opened in 1926, and was operated by the Archdiocese of Seattle for 30 years before being sold. In 2015, it accommodated medical offices.

Building History

Early settler to Bellevue, Noe Lanier (c. 1861-04/24/1914) donated the land to the Catholic Archdiocese for the purpose of building a house of worship.

Sacred Heart Church occupied a 21,275-square-foot (0.49-acre) site. It contained 5,193 gross square feet, 3,800 net. In 2015, the decommissioned church had a value of $3,724,100.
