Bayside, Everett, WA

One of the largest facilities in the lumber town of Everett, WA, Weyerhaeuser's Mill C displayed the same high level of technological innovation as did its Mill B, the first all-electric lumber mill in the US. The WPA Guide to Washington State said that Mill C had become well-known "...for its operation of with electric and compressed air equipment." (See WPA Writers Program (WA State), Washington: A Guide to the Evergreen State, [Portland, Or., Binfords & Mort, 1941], p. 198.)
