Building Notes
The Angelus Abbey Mausoleum appeared in an advertisement for Truscon Waterproofing products, in the 02/1930 issue of Architectural Record, vol. 67, no. 2, p. 2. The text describing the Compton mausoleum stated: "Angelus Abbey Mausoleum, Compton, Calif. Ten tons of Truscon Waterproofing Paste used to waterproof all floors and crypts. Architect--Clarence Aldrich. Long Beach, California; Contractor--Chas. Fink, Long Beach, California." (See "Bar Moisture and Your Bar Decay," Architectural Record, vol. 67, no. 2, 02/1930, p. 2.)
