Overview
This three-story, wood-frame Queen Anne Style residence was one of the first houses to be razed in the Warren Avenue Neighborhood on 11/12/1958. It was part of a "blighted" area that would be bulldozed to make way for the Seattle World's Fair of 1962. In recent years, the demolition of the Warren Avenue Neighborhood has undergone some scrutiny. (See Knute Berger, "Seattle Center: How the city bulldozed history to create change." Crosscut.com, accessed 06/10/2015.)
