Overview
Seattle architect Jack Vincent (1932-2008) produced this residence for the developers Theo Caldwell (1923-1986) and Alan Black (b. 1928) in 1967. Vincent worked periodically for Black and Caldwell in the 1960s. Another house at 12425 NE 39th Street in Bellevue, WA, designed by architect Ralph D. Anderson (1924-2010), shared similarities to this Mercer Island House. Both men worked for Black and Caldwell, and it is possible that Vincent worked for Anderson in the early 1960s.
