In 1898, Abraham Schwabacher was President of the Stockton Milling Company, (G. Victor De Lorme served as secretary), whose San Francisco office was located at 112 California Street. The Schwabacher Family owned many businesses in San Francisco and throughout the Pacific Northwest, most notably the Schwabacher Hardware Company, whose leadership lived in San Francisco and Seattle at this time. The Stockton Milling Company owned the Crown Flouring Mills in Stockton, CA.
