Santa Ana architect Frederick Harry Eley (1884-1979) designed the Dance Pavilion erected in Irvine Park in 1930. See "Dance Pavilion," Southwest Builder and Contractor, 02/28/1930, p. 47, col 2. The Los Angeles Public Library California Index stated: "Architect Frederick H. Eley prepares plans for a dance pavilion in Irvine Park, Santa Ana."
