Frederick H. Eley (1884-1979) designed an addition to the Franklin Elementary School in 1924. In 1923-1924, he contracted with the Santa Ana School District to design several new grammar schools, including Roosevelt and McKinley. He also designed an addition to the Lowell Grade School in 1923.
