Santa Ana architect Frederick Eley (b. 1884) designed the Roosevelt Elementary School in 1924; it had a symmetrical front elevation, with a central portico containing two columns in antis. One-story wings extended off creating a front courtyard. The building was a stylistic mix between the Classical Revival and the Spanish Colonial Revival, the latter thought to be well-suited to CA's climate and heritage. The linear, one-story, courtyard floor plan recalled earlier school projects created by Allison and Allison in the Los Angeles area.

Demolished. Another Roosevelt school replaced Eley's design.
