Construction began on the Computing and Engineering Building in 09/2003 and was finished by 09/2005, when classes began that year. Constructed of a reinforced steel frame, the four-story building contained classrooms, labs for Cyber Security, Hardware, Software, Digital, Materials, Thermal Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Robotics, Multimedia, and Visual Communication, a machine shop with computer controlled machining equipment, and a "Gallery of Technology," a display of contemporary technology in action.
