Building History

This apartment block, with its brick walls and bay windows, was a lone survivor of the 1900s in this eastern, high-rise section of Downtown Seattle.

In 1948, Yuhei Shimanaka managed the Dover Apartments at 901 6th Avenue. (See Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1948, p. 357.)
