This log cabin was the first residence of Ezra Meeker (1830-1928), a pioneer in Puyallup, WA, who campaigned for the preservation of the Oregon Trail. He and his wife, Eliza Jane Sumner Meeker (1834-1909), arrived in the Oregon Territory in 1852.
