The Grace Presbyterian congregation in Asotin, WA, formed in 1898, a group containing some of Asotin County's most influential citizens. The congregation finished the church in 1899, in a style sometimes called "Early Gothic Revival" or "Carpenter Gothic." The Presbyterians moved out and were replaced by the Full Gospel Church.

The church consisted of a primary rectangular form, the sanctuary topped by a gabled roof, to which a tower was attached to the west. Seen from the front, the sanctuary was lit by a triplet of double-hung windows, above which were located a band of shingles and a trio of Gothic windows (the side windows smaller than the central). The tower contained the double-doored main entry above which was a bulls-eye window. An open, octagonal belfry had an arcade supporting a tall spire with a finial gracing the top.
