The Trinity Parish Church #1 occupied the northwest corner of present-day 3rd Avenue and Jefferson Streets.

Overview

The first Episcopal congregation formed in Seattle in 1865. (A Methodist Episcopal group did predate it.) Trinity Parish erected this small church in 1870, dedicating it on 06/11/1871. It was utiized between 1870 and 1892, when a second church was built in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood.
