Businessman Arthur O. Hanisch (1895-1966), lived at this address in 1940 with his wife, Marian (1901-1991), and their sons, Shaler (b. 1927 in WI-d. 1995 in CA) and Stuart (born c. 1937 in WI). Hanisch founded the Stuart Company in 1941, a maker of an early liquid vitamin supplement and later the antacid, Mylanta.
