Architect Denver D. Markwith, Jr., (1914-2008) designed this house in the mid-1960s for his family.

Architect's own house; Denver Markwith, Jr., lived at this address from 1965-2008. In 04/2013, the house was put on the real estate market with an asking price of $865,000. The house occupied a 7,913-square-foot lot in 2013. A two-bedroom design, it had a resemblance to Monterey Colonial Architecture of the previous century. It contained three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, redwood and brick-faced walls and Douglas fir tongue-and-groove decking on its long balcony. Markwith included many mahogany and oak built-in cabinets and shelving storage areas throughout his house. The house was set back behind foliage from the street and enjoyed several outdoor living areas, extensive patio space, outdoor corridors and the balcony.
