The Los Angeles architectural firm of Weston and Weston designed the Alessandro Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, that opened at 2643 Partridge Avenue on 10/13/1926. The firm had a specialty in bank architecture during the 1920s.
This one-story, wood-frame Ranch House Style building was the first constructed using funds from a 1925 library bond issue in Los Angeles. It was located nearby to the Los Angeles Unified Public School District's Alessandro School.
