Building History

The Perkins Preschool occupied the building c. 2013. It had an appraised value of $966,500 in 2013.

Building Notes

This plain, two-story, wood-frame building had storefronts on its first floor and offices/meeting spaces on the second. Two doors open the first story, the north one leading to a storefront, the south leading to a stairway upstairs. This former lodge has a false front, hiding its clapboard-sided walls.

Demolition

This Masonic hall fell victim to the mania for multi-family residential development that gripped Seattle in 2018. Demolition began on Friday, 07/06/2018, and continued over the next day. At the same time, another building to the south was demolished at the same time to open a large building site.
