Everett Robbins Perry (1876-1933) and his wife, Lilla Gertrude Perry, resided at this address in 1933, with their five children: Richard W. (age 23), Edward C. (21), Norman (17), Beatrice (15), and Dorothy (14). Perry headed the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL) system for 22 years--1911-1933--at a time of dynamic growth.
